This page explains what cookies and similar technologies American Wellness Daily uses, and how you can control them.
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device to remember information between visits or between pages. Similar technologies, like browser local storage, work in comparable ways. We use both.
On your first visit, a banner asks whether you accept or reject non-essential cookies. Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage so we don't ask again on future visits (unless you clear your browser data). If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat that the same as clicking "Reject." Essential cookies, described below, are used regardless of this choice because the site can't function properly without them.
Essential (always on). A small cookie or local-storage entry that remembers your cookie-consent choice itself, so the banner doesn't reappear every time you load a page. These aren't used for tracking or advertising, and the site's basic functionality depends on them.
Advertising / conversion measurement (only with consent). If you accept cookies, we enable a Microsoft Advertising (Bing Ads) conversion-tracking tag. This helps us understand, in aggregate, whether traffic arriving from an ad we ran actually led to someone reading a report or subscribing to our newsletter. Until you accept, this tag runs in a consent-denied mode that Microsoft's own platform is designed to respect.
Third-party cookies from links we send you to. When you click an outbound link — to Amazon, a manufacturer's site, or a source we cite — that destination site may set its own cookies once you land there, under its own privacy and cookie policy. We don't control those and this policy doesn't cover them; see our Privacy Policy for more on our relationship with Amazon specifically.
Beyond the choice offered in our banner, every major browser lets you block or delete cookies through its own settings, and most offer a private/incognito mode that avoids storing cookies past that browsing session. Blocking essential cookies may cause the consent banner to reappear on every visit, but won't otherwise break the site.
